How does Unsweetened Kiki Milk compare to Original Kiki Milk?
The key difference between Original Kiki Milk and Unsweetened Kiki Milk is that Original Kiki Milk is made with organic, glyphosate residue-free oats and contains a few grams of low-glycemic index coconut sugar while Unsweetened Kiki Milk is made with organic rice and has zero grams added sugar.
The reason we omitted oats in Unsweetened Kiki Milk is that they DO naturally release sugar when heated, which gives us a bit of a hurdle when wanting to reach our “unsweetened” goal.
Rice, on the other hand, does not release sugars when heated and still offers a healthy, delicious, and naturally creamy experience. Win-win!

What does Unsweetened Kiki Milk taste like?
Unsweetened Kiki Milk is delightfully mild. If you prefer your milks to have a light flavor (so other mixings can sing 🍪🥣), you’ll love this clean-tasting blend with hints of coconut, rice and sprouted pumpkin seeds. It’s the perfect versatile addition to the kitchen – especially if you are super sensitive to sugar.

Why is there still 1g of sugar in Unsweetened Kiki Milk?
Whole foods have sugar too! 🌱 The 1g of sugar comes from an AMAZING combination of nutrient-dense, organic superfoods. It’s 100% natural.

How much arsenic is in Unsweetened Kiki Milk?
We test our rice for the presence of arsenic prior to processing and don't accept anything that's higher than 0.5 mg/kg (historically we see the results coming in at 0.04 mg/kg or less). We are also in the middle of testing our finished product for any arsenic traces and will share our findings as soon as they are available.

Is Unsweetened Kiki Milk made on the same production lines as Original, Chocolate and Mac Nut Kiki Milk?
Yes, Unsweetened is processed in the same facility and shares lines with our other milks. All of the same cleaning and quality assurance practices exist. If allergens are run prior to processing a full clean takes place, and the food contact and non-food contact surfaces are tested for the presence of the allergen after the cleaning to ensure that it is completely cleaned.

Do you offer Unsweetened Kiki Milk samples?
Not at this time, unfortunately. BUT we are looking at options and might even come out with a 32 oz sample box (Original, Chocolate, Mac Nut and Unsweetened)… stay tuned!

How long does Unsweetened Kiki Milk stay fresh?
Thanks to our shelf-stable packaging, unopened Kiki Milk will keep safe as long as the packaging remains intact. We include a "Best if Used By" date that reflects our testing and tasting of the product and guarantees that if it is consumed before that date it will taste just as flavorful and delicious as the first day it's made. Best of all due to the nature of processing and packaging this can be stored without refrigeration or preservatives. This means you can store it in your pantry or even take it with you when traveling.
Once you are ready to enjoy Kiki Milk, we highly recommend drinking it cold for the best experience. Simply add a few cartons (or the entire case 😉) of Kiki Milk into your fridge for at least 2 hours before consuming. Pro tip: The more you add to the fridge at once, the more you have on hand to enjoy later without waiting.
If you don’t finish a carton in a single sitting, no problem! Simply store it in the fridge until you are ready for more.
👉 8oz Kiki Milk stays fresh for 7-10 days in the fridge.
👉32oz Kiki Milk stays fresh for 10-14 days in the fridge, thanks to the nifty screw cap!

Because Unsweetened Kiki Milk is so deliciously new, our first round of cases will be a limited run. Meaning? It won't be available for subscription quite yet, as we don’t know how long supplies will last. However, given its high demand, we plan to launch it for subscription soon!
